The Junk Drawer Rhapsody series reimagines the still life genre to explore the resonance of the ordinary things that surround us, simultaneously banal and menacing in appearance.
These virtual still life images are constructed using 3D models, impossible stage set-like spaces and complex, multi-source illumination. Manipulating scale, reflection and local color, these images create a heightened and amplified but confining world.
